With over 40 years of experience in the insurance and claims management industries, Keith and his team at Gulf South Risk Services strive to work as an advocate for clients and an extension of their team while exceeding customer expectations in every way including personalized service, custom claims management, and cost savings. Keith has served as a board member of the Houma Downtown Development Corporation, has been a panel member and seminar speaker at numerous conferences involving the marine casualty and claim field and is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the Health Care Administrators Association and the Louisiana Association of Self Insured Employers.
Jeri Kenney
Vice President
Jeri’s insurance career spans more than 30 years, beginning at MetLife in the late 1980’s. Jeri Joined Gulf South Risk Services 20 years ago and has extensive knowledge in the self-funded insurance industry. Her experience in the insurance and healthcare field helps her to communicate with clients, giving them the knowledge they need to make important decisions for their employees.
Jeri is highly skilled at building positive relationships with clients, peers, and team members as well as managing numerous tasks simultaneously. She is passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
Dean Vaden
Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Dean has consistently built best in class sales and account management organizations in multiple markets throughout his 28 year career in healthcare and insurance markets. Dean has extensive experience in managed care and cost containment strategies for self-funded employee benefit plans.
Prior to joining Gulf South Risk Services Dean held a variety of senior management positions including CEO and President of Devon Health Services/Consilium as well as directing the national sales team as National Sales Director at First Health/Coventry Healthcare.
Dana Pitre
Chief Operating Officer
Dana has been with Gulf South for over 17 years, working in multiple facets of the company. Dana’s extensive experience allows her to effectively handle a multitude of areas involving the self-funded insurance industry including claims management, implementation oversight, stop loss placement, and more.
Dana is committed to providing top-quality service to members and providers, providing them with the knowledge and assistance they may need while navigating employee benefits.
Jasmine Granier
Vice President of Synergy Plus
Jasmine has held multiple positions at Gulf South during her 15 year career here. She currently serves as Vice President of Synergy Plus, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gulf South with a focus on cost containment through our in-house Reference Based Pricing (RBP) product. Jasmine has extensive experience in numerous facets of the self-funded insurance industry as well as a thorough understanding of operations and workflow here at Gulf South.
In her current role, she oversees all aspects of the Synergy Plus operations team including RBP, patient’s advocacy and communication with providers when needed.
Sue Duplantis
Claims Manager
Sue began her insurance career in 1976 and has been with Gulf South Risk Services since 2002. She has extensive knowledge and experience in casualty claims, and she is highly skilled in claims administration and management.
Sue handles the supervision of the adjusters and staff associated with the casualty claims division and assists in the investigation and handling of various claims including USL&H, Jones Act, State Workers’ Compensation, General Liability and Auto Liability.
